Vignaud Manufacture in Limoges. Part of a porcelain table service
Beautiful white porcelain service by Vignaud Manufacture with decoration of flower bouquets in the centre and gilt stylized friezes against a fushia ground with stylized gilt enameled friezes on outer rim. Comprising 81 pieces as follows:
-24 large plates - 12 soup platess - 11 dessert plates - 1 circular platter - 1 shallow platter - 1 oval platter - 1 salad bowl - 1 soup bowl and its cover - 1 circular entremet platter - 1 sauce boat - 2 ravier dishes - 12 coffee cups and their saucers - 1 cheese platter with metallic mounting of a similar model but not identical.
Diameter of a large plate : 24 cm (9.4 in.)
All pieces are marked LML and Limoges and some are signed A Vignaud
The Vignaud manufacture in Limoges was taken over in 1970 by the famous firm Bernardaud.
