Very large oblong shaped porcelain plate with polychrome enameled decoration of a pheasant perched on a knoll with a pierced rock and two blooming peonies. Gilt enameled iron spears frieze on inner rim. On outer rim four sprays of peonies alternating with four butterflies in gold, manganese and red under glaze. Along the rim, a delicate gold frieze of chi clouds against a manganese ground.
