Three pieces from a plaster surtout de table representing a captured boar and two bloodhound guides.

They are most possibly plaster casts executed specially at Sèvres for the Samson household in 1884, after the originals conserved at the Manufacturer.
The original surtout comprised five pieces. The model was realized in 1776 after drawings by Jean-Baptiste Oudry for the sculptor Pierre Blondeau, member of the Saint-Luc Academy.
