Terra-cotta and polychromy statuettes of the ten principal incarnations (avataras) of ten god Vishnu depicting : (1) Matsya, a Fish (2) Kūrma, a Tortoise, (3) Varāha, a Boar, (4) Narasimha, a man-lion, (5) Vāmana, a Dwarf, (6) Parashurāma, Rama with an axe, (7) Rāma, the hero of Ramayana (8) Krishna; (9) Buddha, the prince Siddhārtha Gautama and (10) Kalkī, avatara « to appear ».
