Probably the first piece of an eight-piece set of tapestries : The story of Romulus and Remus. The god, Mars embraces Rhea Silvia in a landscape. Border ornated with allegories of the Elements standing under arcatures between vases of flowers and fruits. Upper-part decorated with an escutcheon.

Accidents and former restorations and re-working, galloon from later period.
