Small commode with projection fitted with two drawers with no girder of tulipwood-veneering designed with butterfly wings and Greek fretwork fillets, against amaranth ground.
Rounded, anterior supports atop curved legs.
Flat sides with projections.
Gilded and chiseled bronze ornamentation: drawer-pulls with laurel garlands, keyholes with ribboned bows, sabots as bat wings and perforated frieze.

Grey Saint Anne marble top, moulded.
Stamped on the left, anterior support: HERICOURT and JME.

Louis XV-Louis XVI Transition Era.

Older additions on the veneer.

Height: 85 cm (33-1/4 in.) - Width: 83 cm (32-1/2 in.) - Depth: 47 cm (18-1/2 in.).

Antoine Héricourt received master status in Paris on October 20, 1773 (1730-1792).
He realized numerous furniture pieces of the Transition style for the French Royal Court.
