Silver tulip beaker on spreading foot with ovolo and interlacing mouldings. Moulded rim with double threads. The upper section bordered with a festooned frieze of alternating shells and flowers. Initialled A de FIYEUL on foot.

Silversmith : Louis-Jacques BERGER, registered the year five of the Republic.

Marks : Vendémiaire boar’s head of the year five, Paris 1st Rooster 1798-1809 (1st standard- 950°/oo), maker’s mark (LJB vase) on bottom. Paris guarantee on rim. Crab département small guarantee after 1838 on bottom and foot.

Weight : 99g (3oz 3dwt).

Height : 10cm (4in).
