Silver tulip beaker on spreading gadroon foot, rim with double threads. Initialled G C MR.

Paris, late 18th century – Early 19th century.

Silversmith : Louis TASSIN active from 1803 to 1814.

Marks : revolutionary Jeannette of the Parisian silversmith association 1794-1997 on bottom. 1st Rooster (1st standard – 950°/oo) on bottom and Paris guarantee 1798-1809 on rim. Maker’s mark on bottom. Crab, small guarantee for département after 1838, on foot and rim.
