Silver pear-shaped chocolate pot on three small narrow feet with oval medallion terminals. Decorated with shield initialed RD. Fluted spout, turned seed finial. Turned and ebonized fruit-wood side handle.

Guildmark , lid 1783 / 1784 , body 1784 / 1785.
Master silversmith maker's mark : Nicolas-Chrysostome CAUET, master status in Paris on January 17, 1784.
