SÈVRES.

Large biscuit figure of hard paste porcelain representing the farewells to Paris by Helen on an oval plinth. Standing Paris dressed in Roman attire saying goodbye to seated Helen draped in a tunic and pleading while holding him. A third figure, companion of Paris, leads.

Carved Sèvres mark on the base and initials of caster og. ABb 76 OZ.

Early 19th Century circa 1811.

Height: 37 cm (14-1/2 in.).

Length: 28,5 cm (11-1/4 in.).

Kiln mark underneath, missing sword, repaired chip on verso.

Two arms of Paris re-glued, missing one finger.

This biscuit figure was created at the Manufacture under the direction on Boizot in 1797.
