SARREGUEMINES. Corner wall fountain with cover
Earthenware corner wall fountain with cover, basin and soap container. Polychrome trompe l'oeil decoration of a brick wall with a creeping ivy in relief. Underneath, a shell presents a dolphin with pewter faucet in his open mouth. The fountain is fixed on a natural wood corner stand.
Chip on the knop and repairs on the verso of the fountain with staples.
Height: 61,5 cm (24-1/4 in.) - Side of basin: 33 cm (13 in.) - Side of soap dish: 14,5 cm (5-3/4 in.) Total height: 110 cm (43-1/4 in.).
Bearing an oval label on the top's interior, inscription against a green background: H. Pochet, 17 rue Huguerie, Bordeaux (Merchant at Bordeaux). SARREGUEMINES.
