Round porcelain covered teapot with polychrome decoration of two four-lobed reserves with strewn flowers, peonies and lotus flowers. The two reserves are surrounded by blue, orange or gilt camaïeu flowers. Blue galloon on borders. Cover support joined to handle by a small chain that was added later.

China, Late 18th Century

Height: 15 cm (6 in.) - Length: 24 cm (9-1/3 in.)

Spout with loss replaced by modern silver mount with incised foliage decoration. Flaking on cover.
