Gold 18K (750 millièmes) slim open faced pocket watch. White-enameled dial with painted Roman numerals, index baton markers for minutes indication. Back with color-enameled decoration depicting the coat of arms for Prince Milos Obrenovitch I, Prince of Serbia (March 18, 1780 - September 26, 1860). Ground is engraved with the letter M in cyrillic and surmounted with royal crown. Internal cuvette signed: Robert Brandt & Cie. Numbered: 7278.
Mechanical movement is not signed, winding key.

Louis Brandt (1800-1866) was a watch maker and merchant in Chaux-de-Fonds (Robert Brandt & Cie). He specialized in watches with Jacquemart, minutes repetition and notably slim and extra slim watches that were sometimes enameled.
