Porcelain plate with peacocks decoration. China, Yongzheng Period


Porcelain plate painted with Famille Rose enamels of two peacocks by a pierced boulder and peony bush. Inner rim with frieze of yellow-painted spear tips. Outer rim with delicate floral "bianco copra bianco" painted decoration. Border ornated with with frieze of pink cell pattern and one green trellis frieze separated by flowered cartouches.
