Porcelain plate ornated with young immortal lady He Xiangu. China, Yongzheng Period


Porcelain plate with polychrome Famille Rose enameled decoration. Center ornated with young immortal lady He Xiangu in center carrying “lotus” characteristic scepter in right hand and basket of lingzhi (sacred mushroom) in left hand.
Yellow stag on her left and young servant carrying a vase on her right within rocky landscape with pine trees.
Inner rim painted with one flowers frieze and two double red encirclements.
Blooming peony branches on outer rim and cross-bars frieze on border.

China, Yongzheng Period (1723-1735)
