Porcelain plate. China, Yongzheng Period


Porcelain plate painted with Famille Rose enamels in center of crane atop long leaf which a scribe’s scroll and vase of peonies rests. Table on right with large bowl with one finger lime symbolizing Buddha’s hand, opened pomegranate and one melon. Outer rim with large iron spears enclosing chi clouds, trellis cartouches and diverse flowers.
