Porcelain cup and saucer. China, early Qianlong Period


Porcelain cup and saucer painted in Famille Rose enamels. Saucer with decoration of a woman in the centre, seated on a rug; two accompanying servants, one serving her a glass of white, the other fanning her. Border richly decorated with gilt foliage friezes with people and sepia cartouches. Cup with the same decoration.

China, late Yongzheng Period(1723-1735), early Qianlong Period(1735-1795)

Cup height : 5,7 cm (2.2 in.) – Saucer diameter : 11,7 cm (4.6 in.)
