Biography:
Painter, pastel artist, engraver, ceramic artist, sketcher.
Student of Gérôme at the School of Fine Arts. Important figure in Parisian life. He left memorable testimonies of the 1900s and society described by Marcel Proust. His worldly effigies, feminine silhouettes, sporting scenes from the elegant world are among the most accurate images of France’s Golden Era (Source: Bénézit)
