Pair of Queen Anne pistols, 1780-1800


Pair of Queen Anne type flintlock pistols. Long round barrels with padded muzzles, forced bullets, numbered 1 and 2. Boxlock engraved with foliaged scrollwork and “Griffin Bond Street London”. Walnut stock with safety catch decorated with weapon trophies and buttcap with silver grimacing masks.
