Pair of porcelain plates. China, Kangxi Period


Pair of porcelain plates with underglaze red and gilt enamel “Milk and Blood” decoration. Outer rim ornated with trellis and flowered branches. Basin outlined with chevrons and fleurons with household items and scribe attributes including a painting representing a lakeside.

China, Kangxi Period (1662-1722)

Diameter: 22,7 cm (9 in.)

One kiln mark on one, one crack on other. Small enamel flaking. Minor chips.
