Pair of large wood Solomonic columns painted as fake marble, carved with polychrome vine branches, wine grapes, birds and cherubs. Gilt wood Corinthian capitals.

Late 17th Century.

Black wood plinth.

Total height: 245 cm (96-1/4 in.).

Minor restorations due to wear, notably on the polychromy.
These altar-piece columns were applied against a surface, the rear 1/4 section is not painted.
