Sterling silver flatware set of eighteen table forks, eighteen table spoons and eighteen steel blade table knives, fiddle pattern handles with scrolls and shells. Twelve blades marked Odiot and six marked Travis Wilson Sheffield.

Each piece marked Odiot , stamped with the maker’s mark.

Accolé coat of arms of the Courson de Kernescop family.

French Second Empire Period, 19th century, third quarter.

Fork length : 21cm. (8.3in).
Knife length : 26cm. (10.2in).

Total weight without the knives : 3450g. (110oz 18dwt)

In a fitted leather wooden case, with two velvet trays. The lid stamped with the coronet of a viscount.
Case dimensions : 11 x 37 x 26cm. (4.3 x 14.6 x 10.2in).

Very minor scratches, a few oxidations on the blades marked odiot, worn case.
