In-folio (37,5 x 45 cm [14-3/4 x 17-2/3 in.]) vellum, framework engraved with masonry decoration and attributes., r red wax seals with coat of arms for Duke of Orléans, grand master of the Orient of France, hanging blue silk seals, ink seal with monograml minor foxing, marked creases.

Certificate issued by members of R:.L of St-Michel at the Orient of Paris, to Jean-Baptiste Palé, masonry apprenticed companion for his personal qualities and reward for his zeal, fervor and commitment, bearing the lodge brother signatures including Brulé, Castella, David, de Besse, Leroi, Palembier, Pouchard, Martin, etc.
