Mahogany and mahogany veneer office armchair. Front gained legs carved with foliage, back sabre legs. Scrolling armrests. Stamped QUENNE under the apron.

Upholstered with green leather. Some scratches

Étienne- François QUENNE (1766-1837)
In 1811 he received some commissions from the Imperial Warehouse ; comprising : six men’s toilettes, six bergere armchairs, three sofas, thirty six armchairs, thirty six chairs, twelve stools and quadrille tables. He was made the expert for appraising the workshop of his colleague J.B.G. LOUIS after his death in 1817.
