Madame de GENLIS, Bélisaire. Paris, Maradan, 1808

Two in-12 duodecimo volumes, green paperboard, Greek fretwork framing the boards, plain spine ornated with flowers and gilt title. Gilt stamped Bourbon-Condé coat of arms in center of boards, inscribed “Chantilly” on spine bottom, Reliure de Meslant (binding company) label on counter board.

Loss on spine of second volume’s binding. Moldy spine bottoms. Exposed spine and board for second volume.
