Louis XVI style mahogany bureau de bonheur with mechanism. Resting on four fluted and tapered legs ending in sabots. With many ingenious mechanisms : Central drawer when opened reveals three compartments and allows the opening of a small cylinder which in turn releases the three drawers on the facade. The opening of the cylinder allows the unfolding of a plateau sheathed with olive green leather which constitutes a writing surface. Sides are garnished by striking strips and upper part ornated by a brass gallery pierced with drapery garland motifs.
