Jean-Pierre Labelony, born in 1810 at Navarrenx (Basses-Pyrénées), died in Paris on April 24, 1874. Was pharmacist and invented a syrup which bears his name. General Councilman for Seine, he was elected deputy of Seine & Lise in 1871, and allied with the left. He was member of inspection council for the publication “Le Siècle”.
