Important oval silver-plated soup tureen


Important oval silver-plated soup tureen decorated with chiseled waterleaves on a small pedestal. Scrolling acanthus leaves on the handles. Medallions and palmettes on top of the cover. Finial designed as an acorn.

Circa 1830.

Master silversmith LEVRAT.

CHRISTOFLE maker's marks probably because the piece was re-silvered during the 19th Century.

Restorations along the small pedestal and handles. Few sections of wear.
