Large polychrome-enameled porcelain basin, exterior with decoration of succession of small scenes in medallions encircled with Greek fretwork frieze and surmounted with flowered scrollwork frieze enlivened with insects and birds. Interior also with decoration of small scenes in multi-lobed medallions surmounted with friezes of flowered scrollwork enlivened with insects, birds and dragons.
Gilt bronze mount: basin’s upper part is encircled with interlacing friezes pierced with double row of beads and atop small pedestal with decoration of gadroons, acanthus leaves frieze, fluting and beaded threading. Handles designed as Greek fretwork enriched with mobile laurel wreaths.
