One in-4 quarto volume (26 x 20 cm [10-1/4 x 7-3/4 in.]), full marbled calfskin, triple gilt threading framing boards, gilt coat of arms in center, ribbed spine decorated with crowned initials, gilt frieze running along interior edge, all speckled edges, dusty pink silk signet (binding of the era).
With royal coat of arms and lettering.
Well-intact with engraved frontispiece (allegory with dauphin coat of arms), portrait of Count of Provence, and four plates outside text by Ch. Eisen.
For each of four eras: large vignette engraved on first page, final cartouche. Vignette-portrait on sheet preceding justified pieces.

Flaw: damaged lower crown. But very good example; very fresh interior, with large margins.
