Our painting is an adaptation of the composition by Jean Baptiste Camille Corot, in the Norton Simon collections, Los Angeles (canvas, 54 x 81,5 cm [21-1/4 x 32 in.]).
Condition report : The painting is on its canvas of origin which is properly stretched. We note older restorations are scattered about, fair number of active crackling, one cupping and small losses.
