Rectangular wood frame with gilt stucco decorated with Neogothic arcades centered with tiercefeuilles (stylized flower with three petals).

Restoration period, circa 1825-1830.

Height: 50 cm (19-1/2 in.) - Width: 42 cm (16-1/2 in.).
On sight: 32 x 25 cm (12-1/2 x 9-3/4 in.).

Small chips and wear to the gilding.

Containing an antique collection of European butterflies.
Bearing a label on verso from the collection of Jacqueline Barthélemyt-Copper-Royer.
