Four porcelain plates painted with the traditional Imari palette of underglaze blue, iron-red and gilt.
Center is painted with central medallions ornated by six pomegranates surrounded by frieze of peony branches and blooming pomegranates.
Outer rims with rich gilt ground ornated with peony and chrysanthemum branches and bordered by lambrequin galloon. Sectioned with coat of arms in green copper cartouche
