Flemish School, 17th Century.
Oak panel, 2 boards.
46 x 59 cm (18 x 23-1/4 in.).
The work is painted on a healthy and leveled oak panel consisting of two, uncradled boards; a reinforcement on the superior board of 5 cm (2 in.) along the border which corresponds to a horizontal split with a length of 40 cm (15-3/4 in.). The split involves some loss of material in the left section. The wood graining is apparent on the panel's surface. We note a wear of material primarily in the brown sections. Some restorations to be noted in the heads of the central figures (two men wearing hats).
