Bronze ewer with shaded brown patina with finely chiseled decor of a Bacchanale frieze. The handle is composed of a pilaster surmounted with a Bacchus holding a grape cluster. The high-and low-relief frieze represents a Bacchanale cortege. Above a vine-branch garland against a matted ground. Feet with twisted flutings resting on a circular base with gadroons.
