After a Master Degree in Private Law and an auctioneer training, Claire Delétoille-Poublan has been Assessor to the Credit Municipal de Paris since 1987 and ING Graduate Gemmologist since 1991. Head of the silver department at the Credit Municipal de Paris, she is passionate about European history and specialist in fine silver and in particular in Russian silver. In 1998, she obtained an auction record in France for 2.4 million French francs with a Faberge samovar depicting a monumental bogatyr presented by Tsar Nicolas II to French President Felix Faure in 1897. Of English origin, Claire Delétoille-Poublan is also lecturer in European history and Art history in English at the Institut d’Etudes Supérieures des Arts (IESA) in Paris since 2013.
