Painter, engraver, illustrator. Society member of Salon of Autumn from 1921 on, Salon of Tuileries from 1923 on. Laureate at the Abd-El-Tif villa where he stayed in Algiers from 1925-1926 and traveled throughout North Africa. He stayed annually at Pontaubert, near Avaalon. Artist at the St. Jean de Monts school in Vendée. During the 1937 Universal Exposition, he was in charge of decorating the Berry-Nivernais pavilion. A retrospective of his work was organized at St. Jean de Monts in 1975. He was vice-president of French society for painters and engravers and illustrated numerous works (Source - Bénézit).
