Ercuis. Silver-plated flatware set with accolé coats of arms



Silver-plate flatware set, trefoil and thread pattern, comprising twelve table forks, twelve table spoons, twelve dessert forks, twelve dessert spoons, twelve fish forks, twelve fish knives, twelve fruit knives, one fish fork and knife serving set, one fork and spoon serving set, one tart server and a sauce ladle. Engraved accolé coats of arms below a count coronet.

Second half of the 20th century.

Table fork height : 21cm (8.3in).
Table spoon height : 21cm (8.3in).
Dessert fork height : 17cm (6.7in).
Fish fork height : 18cm (7.1in).

A few scratches and very minor wear to silvering.

The Courson de Villeneuve family’s coat of arms dexter, and the Hautecloque family’s coat of arms sinister.
