Resided in Monatmarte, where he knew Utrillo and Modigliani and began painting around 1912. He was invited to exhibit at the Salons of Autumn and Tuileries. His drawing is succint and colors are constructed. He does not tell anecdotes and paints only landscapes, flowers and typical persons. The collector Paul Guillaume and Outsider art specialist-dealer purchased some of his works (source Bénézit)
