The BEAUCOUSIN family had been in Amiens since the mid-17th century and was renowned in sheets middle market and trade. Pauline BEAUCOUSIN (born May 14, 1809 at Amiens - death June 14, 1876 in Paris) married Francisque PETIT de BANTEL, deputy prefect of Cambrai, on June 12, 1833. The latter finished his career as prefect of Aube.
