Foundry mark of Frères SUSSE à Paris and signature "Vital Cornu".

Commentary and condition report:
This artist regularly exhibited at the Salon of French Artists from 1874-1923, obtaining numerous medals and becoming member in 1885.
This statuette to my knowledge is not catalogued in specialized literature; it is not listed in Philippe DAHHAN's work "Etains 1900" (Pewter 1900).
Very good condition; two small dents by the left hip to note as well as two zones with light discoloration on left leg.
