Bronze Periyalwar, a Vishnu azhwar. He is seated on lotus-shaped base atop stepped plinth, his right hand is making the teaching gesture (vyakhyana).
The Vishnu azhwar means “one who dives deep into the ocean of the countless attributes of god” and there is a total of twelve.
