Bronze Annapurna. Annapurna “who possesses and gives food”, another avatar of Parvati, is mother of material nourishment. Standing, in front of mandorla with yali decoration, stylized makar and topped with stupa, she is holding a rice spoon or ghee (clarified butter) in her hands.
