Pair of wide-rimmed vases in earthenware with two handles attached at the rim with a décor on one side of an oval medallion with a bouquet of large roses, ranunculuses, dahlias, against a white ground; and the other side with a flower bouquet against a chamois ground. The offset medallions against a blue ground charmed with rose branches against a combed, white ground and gilded fillets. Gilded, flowered gadroons on the rim and gilded, combed gadroons on the base. Large fillets on the borders.

Carved in marking of "G4" on the base of one and "4" on the other.

Circa 1840.
