Babbitt metal three-piece clock garniture, 19th-20th Century


Babbitt metal and red marble three-piece clock garnitures, with inlaid decoration of gilt brass flowered scrollwork. Comprising one mantle clock ornated with babbitt metal subject after Emile GUILLEMIN (1841-1907), representing Diana at rest, enameled dial signed Desjean; one pair of covered babbitt metal cassolettes with decoration of billy goat heads and flowered garlands, tripod support terminating with hooves.

Late 19th Century, Early 20th Century

Mantle clock: Height: 52 cm (20-1/2 in.) - Width: 49 cm (19-1/4 in.) - Depth: 16,5 cm (6-1/2 in.).
Cassolettes: Height: 46 cm (18 in.) - Width: 12,5 cm (5 in.) - Depth: 12,5 cm (5 in.).
