Height: 81 cm (31-3/4 in.) - Width: 64 cm (25 in.).

Within gilt wood and stucco frame, work from the Empire period, bearing a label Dupré l’aîné peintre et doreur (elder painter and gilder).

Condition Report:
The canvases were re-lined about 40 years prior. One thin tear crosses the left side of the face and we note two small restorations on the background left of the head. We note only a few losses on left side along the border.
The man's portrait is on its canvas of origin. One visible crackling network on the green vest on the left of the man. Presented with dirty and aged varnish.The paintings are in fine condition.
