Arne JACOBSEN (1902-1971) Fritz Hansen Editor

Pair of teakwood “3130” model chairs known as “Grand prix” (Grand Prize). Seat and backrest designed with one thermal-shaped curved wood panel, atop four curved wood legs affixed to seat via screws. This chair was awarded the Grand Prize during the Milan Triennial in 1957.
Fritz Hansen stamp fire-branded under seat: "Made by FH Denmark".
