On a red veined marble plinth.
Antonio UGO was a professor at the Palerma Beaux-arts Academy and at the San-Luca Academy in Rome. With works at the National Art Museum in Rome and at the Palermo Museum, he has also created busts of Pirandello and of Verdi for this same city.
