André Granchet originally from Lozère but moved soon to Paris. He was office manager of the general Treasury at Lozère. He exhibited a still life and landscape at the Salon of Independents in 1928. His studio was located at 38, rue Ramey and he lived at La Ruche in Montparnasse neighborhood from 1910-1914.
