The Marly Horses

Pair of bronze groups woth brown patina. Guillaume Coustou created two groups in 1745 for the drinking trough at Marly, today they are part of the collections at the Louvre.

Accident on reins, one on the horse keeper, wear on patina, pierced embankment.
